mosaics

After finishing the mosaics, i can say it wasent hard at all, it was a great experience for me a got to learn, and also have a lot of fun. First when the teacher told us we are going to to a mosaic i was like come on this is boring, and as i started doing it it become more fun, and i was the first one to finish in the whole class room. My mosaic is based on a cross, i chouse that because I'm very religious, and i think the cross represents Jesus, and his whole story, he was hung on a cross.

My mosaic is very simple, it is a cross, i combined a lot of colors, so that's why my cross stands out form the others. My choice of collors were bright, it think i should do it next time slower because the tiels on the mosaic were messed up a little.

I'm very proud of my work, i hope my teacher is also, this was a fun thing to do and i hope we do it next time.

Raff draft of the movie "Jeasus Christ Superstar"

Jesus Christ Superstar

Jesus Christ Superstar is a movie you have just one opinion on: I love it or I hate it. Depends. If you are the kind of person that likes, disco 70s, and really modern remakes of stories that are millenniums old, then this movie is for you. If you think that a movie that is based on a 2000 year old story, and is made with guns, automobiles and outfits that never even existed back then isn’t your best type, you’ll dislike it.

There are probably 2 sides of my view to this movie. I think it wasn’t the best I’ve ever seen, in fact, it was really bad. But I see that it was filmed in 1973 and that some parts of this movie were made there on purpose (like the guns, airplanes and trucks) because I don’t really think that 2000 years ago they had those things.  Also that the end when they cut off that his death. Wasn’t’ it supposed to be when his resurrection occurred? As Ms. Moore explained to us, “It was left for you to interpret it,” I really didn’t think so. If it’s a movie about Jesus Christ, then it should the whole story, from his birth, or even from when Virgin Mary was told that she’ll give birth to the son of God, up until his resurrection and further prophecies.

The songs weren’t that bad, they were very energetic, so that made the movie more interesting.  Since this is a rock opera, most of the whole movie is sung, if not all, then it would be better if the songs were at least good. And I think that the beats are catchy, and they fit the story, but also – a little too much of disco 70s.

Maybe this movie was a hit in the past, but now there is no point in even watching it, and if you want to watch a good movie based on Jesus’ crucification, watch the “King of Kings”. Also, the movie is G rated, you have scenes like Judas’ suicide and whipping of Jesus, isn’t really for all audiences. So I strongly discourage all people to see this movie, except for old people who love rock operas and stories that are completely made up about Jesus
